2026 FARM CAMP REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!! 

 

FEBRUARY FARM CAMP days are happening this year! After 4 years of summer FARM CAMP SESSIONS, we have decided to keep the farm fun going in the winter too! This will be set up a bit different than the summer sessions & hopefully a bit more flexible for parents. Instead of a 4 day registration week, FARM CAMPERS must be registered for each day that they will be participating over a 5 day schedule. Days available will be Mon., February 16th- Fri., February 20th. The FEBRUARY FARM CAMP days will be from 9:00am-3:00pm. FEBRUARY FARM CAMP registration fee is $65. for one day & $55. for each additional day. If you are signing up more than one child, each additional child will receive a 25% discount.   

AGES: 5-13 (children must be toilet independent)

ACTIVITIES: some of the activities throughout the week will be feeding & watering the animals, cleaning up after the animals, brushing the younger water buffalo & goats, goat walking, outdoor exploring & play, indoor crafts & stories in the farmhouse & some simple cheesemaking (there could be adjustments to this list depending on farm needs, weather & the kiddos interest level).  

KIDDOS NEED TO BRING: water bottle, lunch, warm clothes for outdoor play, clean clothes to change into if they get dirty during chore time, arrive in barn clothes & boots

A snack will be provided each day.

SUMMER FARM CAMP REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!

 

FARM CAMP is happening at ME Water Buffalo Co. this year! So much to see, so much to do & so much to learn! Our goal is to expose your kiddos to farm life & farm animals & all of the wonder that comes with it. From hands-on farm chores & animal care to farm/nature themed stories, crafts & games, FARM CAMP will provide a safe & enriching environment that will seamlessly combine fun with learning. 

 

WHY FARM CAMP? Farms are natural learning environments that tend to spark everybody's inner curiosity & desire to learn, especially children. Animals play a wondrous role in fostering compassion in all of us & a desire to nurture. Time spent on farms also brings a strong connection between us & knowing where our food comes from. Our goal of FARM CAMP is to enhance all of those qualities in campers by providing them with fun hands-on learning opportunities for them to experience farm life for lifelong memories. 

 

SUMMER SESSION AGES: 5-12 years of age (each session will be a mixed age group of campers). Campers must be toilet independent. 

***FARM CAMP alumni: Jr. Helper Campers: Ages 13 & 14. If your child has attended Farm Camp in a previous year at ME Water Buffalo Co. & would like to keep experiencing Farm Camp, this year we have incorporated our Jr. Helper Camper program. Same great fun, but with some added responsibilities. 

 

2026 SUMMER SESSIONS AVAILABLE: 

June 22nd-25th 9:30am-3:00pm daily

July 13th-16th 9:30am-3:00pm daily

August 10th-13th 9:30am-3:00pm daily 

 

SUMMER CAMP FEE: $260 per four day session per camper (includes $60 non-refundable deposit which is due at the time of registration to hold your child's spot. Remaining balance is due by June 1st, July 1st or August 1st (unless other arrangements have been made). SUMMER FARM CAMP fee includes a FARM CAMP tee & a reusable water bottle that your camper will receive on their first day of SUMMER FARM CAMP. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds (minus the $60 non-refundable deposit) will be given up to two weeks before your scheduled camp session. Anything less than a fourteen day cancellation notice will forfeit the entire camp fee.  

 

FARM CAMP INFO:

Please send your camper(s) to FARM CAMP with a bag lunch. A healthy daily snack will be provided. Drinking water will be provided that your child can fill their reusable water bottle with. 

Please be sure to have your child dress appropriately for an active outdoors day at the farm (play clothes, sneakers, sweatshirt, etc.). Please apply sunscreen &/or bug spray to your child if necessary. Your child may smell & look a bit "farmy" at the end of each day. 

Portable toilet available with hand sanitizer. Handwashing station available & campers will be reminded to use it before eating & throughout the day. 

Campers are expected to be dropped off & picked up in a timely manner. Pick-up & drop-off should be at the end of the driveway in front of the farmstore in order to keep moving vehicles away from campers.

A health questionnaire will be required for each child. 

Parents/Legal guardians will be required to sign a Hold Harmless agreement on the first day of your child's FARM CAMP session. If a legal guardian is not dropping your child off at camp on the first day, we can arrange this to be signed ahead of time.  

 

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR FARM CAMP: 

Scroll down & fill out the Registration Form, hit submit & then scroll down to finish registration by making your non-refundable FEBRUARY FARM CAMP $15/DAY  or $60 SUMMER FARM CAMP deposit for the session that you would like your child(ren) to attend. Make sure that the session dates that you are requesting are the same on both the Registration Form & the Deposit. If you would rather send a check to reserve your child's spot then please let us know by sending us an email to mewaterbuffaloco@gmail.com . We will send you a health form to fill out for your child & mail back to us with your remaining summer camp fee balance ($200) by the 1st of the summer month that they will be attending, unless other arrangements have been made. We will not guarantee your child(ren)'s SUMMER FARM CAMP spot until the $60 non-refundable deposit has been made. If you would rather pay the entire FARM CAMP fee at the time of registration, there is also an option for that on the bottom of the page. WHO ARE WE: 

Jessica is the owner/farmer at ME Water Buffalo Co. since its start in 2008. More importantly, my biggest life accomplishment is being a parent to my 3 kiddos, Aidan, Aislinn & Aniston and most recently becoming a grandparent. I homeschooled my own kiddos from K-12, becoming familiar with individual learning styles & ways to create lifelong learners. I understand the importance of what children can learn in a relaxed & fun environment with guided structure. I have been working on a great line-up of activities for this year's camp sessions & can't wait for your kiddos to share a slice of farm life at FARM CAMP!

 

Aislinn Dean, Jessica's adult daughter, also a part-time farmer at ME Water Buffalo Co., will be assisting with daily FARM CAMP activities. Aislinn has been raised on the farm, caring & nurturing animals since she was 5 & then caring & nurturing human kiddos for the past 8 years. For the past 4 years she has been promoted to being a mom herself to two little ones.
